This website is intended for entertainment purposes only. It is designed
for use by Children and Children at heart. SMURPHY is a real dog and
these are real stories and videos of him and his adventures. Due to
security issues in regards to this being a children's' website there are
only outside links to the website designers site, Adobe's site to
download Flash Player (which contain disclaimers for Parents permission)
and to PayPal's donation page (which also includes disclaimers for
parents permission) The donation button is there specifically because I
would like to be able to get SMURPHY's website on a paid hosting server
instead of Free through GoDaddy but until now can not justify the yearly
expenditure on a FREE to all users site. If and when the site makes
enough in donations to get on paid hosting, (approximately $50 per year)
all other revenue will go towards dog food and dog cookies, annual shots
and maintenance etc. but a good percentage of the income will be donated
to local animal shelters that support the no kill policy.
This site contains, games, stories, pictures, videos, e-cards and even poetry.
All of the pages can be linked to or the links can be sent safely to
others for sharing purposes. It does not require cookies to be activated, does not offer any
downloads or anything that may contain viruses or spyware. As a
webmaster I keep all of my websites clean and operational and have the
consumers safety in mind at all times. This website is updated on
a regular basis but will never contain profanity, offensive images, negative
connotations or anything that would not be construed of as child safe.
This website has been labeled with the Child Safety Label from the ICRA
formerly the Internet Content Rating Association which is now
part of the Family Online Safety
Institute. This label states that this website contains No
nudity; No sexual material; No violence; No potentially offensive
language; No potentially harmful activities and No user-generated
content.
