| Q. |
What are your qualifications for President?
|
| A. |
I may not have a military service record but I bark
every time someone walks by the house! And I was born in America!
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What about your age, aren’t you a bit young to run
for President?
|
| A. |
I may be young, only 4 years old, but in reality I
am 28 years old in dog years.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What is your opinion of wars?
|
| A. |
Wars are bad, people get killed. Wars will be
settled with a long game of fetch.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What is your faith?
|
| A. |
I have faith that this country will vote for the
best possible candidate
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What are your family values?
|
| A. |
I value my family, they love me very much and so in
exchange I love them unconditionally – that is the way it should be with
everyone! |
| |
|
| Q. |
What do you think of Current Events and the Economy? |
| A. |
Currently the Events of this Economy are quite
upsetting. Something needs to be done to help every dog (and
cat) owner in America before no one can afford to buy
cookies! |
| |
|
| Q. |
What is your stance on healthcare?
|
| A. |
Healthcare – everyone should get their shots once a
year – even if they don’t want them.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
You mentioned wanting to provide Universal Flea
Care, can you tell us more about that?
|
| A. |
My comprehensive bill on Universal Flea Care is
really quite simple. Fleas are not only an unpleasant nuisance but they
can lead major health problems. I will provide Universal Flea Care to
all dogs big and small. Cats too, I have no problem with cats, my little
brother is one. |
| |
|
| Q. |
What do you think about poverty?
|
| A. |
Poverty – we really need to get rid of that –
everyone should be able to afford food and housing; even if it’s just a
small dog house. |
| |
|
| Q. |
And about the Housing situation, what do you think
about these housing foreclosures?
|
| A. |
No one should loose their house, their house is
their home and as long as they work hard and pay as much as they can,
that should be good enough. The banks should try to work with the
people, just like us dogs work with people.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What do you think about the other Presidential
Candidates? |
| A. |
I don't have an opinion about them. I don't think
much about them at all. |
| |
|
| Q. |
What are your opinions on the World Environment?
|
| A. |
Our world Environment is chaotic, there are snow
storms where there never have been before, tornados are more abundant,
hurricanes stronger than ever before, droughts where there used to be
rain, and more rain causing flooding where there never was flooding
before. Since I am afraid of thunder storms I really don’t like the
current environment.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What do you plan on doing about Homeland Security?
|
| A. |
My idea of Homeland Security – Put a dog in every yard to
provide home and land security.
|
| |
|
| Q. |
What are your views on terrorism? |
| A. |
Terrorism – Ooh, that’s bad, terrorists are scary
and they do very bad things, they should all go to jail and have their
TV privileges revoked! |
| |
|
| Q. |
How about education?
|
| A. |
Education is important. You must learn something
new every day. When you learn a new trick you get cookies!
|
| |
|
| Q. |
Would you like to say anything else to the American
people listening today?
|
| A. |
Yes. The Presidential election is a very serious
topic; it is an important part of American Heritage and the American
Democratic System. Although it is poked fun of at times, it shouldn’t be
ignored. America has announced it is ready for a change and it is up to
them to vote for the best possible candidate in this coming election
(even if it is someone that isn't on the news all of the time).
But just because some Americans are too young to vote; it doesn’t mean
they shouldn’t take an active interest in the presidential elections or
educate themselves on the issues. What happens in this election effects
them in the future.
|
| |
Participate in the election process, get to
know your state representatives, senators, federal
congressmen, governor and local government officials. Write
or email a letter addressing your concerns or questions
about the issues to your representatives. Ask questions,
stay informed and discuss what you have learned with others.
The best way to make a difference is to vote and when you
are old enough to do just that, wouldn’t it be nice to know
what it is you are truly doing?
