I watch over the froggy
pond, looking out for the frogs, keeping an eye out for
snakes... of course I don't go after the snakes myself, I call
my daddy to take care of that dangerous task. |
|
Whenever my parents come home from shopping, I watch over
the goods in the trunk of the car, sometimes
I sit
on top of them! |
 |

| This is my little
brother Beni (he's a cat) but I
don't hold that against him.
He is a good little
brother, although this past summer he spent most of his time out
here in what my mommy calls a catnip patch.
Beni was quite funny rolling around this plant and then passing
out in the middle of the yard. I'd check on him many times
throughout the day and he was always fine. |

For
Thanksgiving
I
posed as an Indian's dog.
I
took that job Very seriously as you can tell by the serious
look on my face.
|
| Of course the problem
with being a self-appointed guard dog is the substantial amount
of fear I have. So to get around that, whenever I hear someone
outside or see someone walk by the house (or even when I think I
hear something) I boldly bark once... and then run out of the
room to hide (I don't want to make that stranger come after me)
and no matter how many times my parents say I shouldn't be
afraid, I can't help it. I'm not big on confrontations. It's a
good thing my sister is a REAL Guard dog! |

 |
So as you can see,
I have my work cut out for me...
Even though my parents
don't expect me to be A guard dog I feel it is my dog-given
duty, especially since they have given me such a nice home.
Why
wouldn't I want to protect it? |

I have big shoes to fill... |
